Guided in Spanish & English by passionate teachers
Our teachers guide all lesson plans in both Spanish and English, providing children with a unique bilingual learning experience that promotes cognitive development, improved memory, and enhanced problem-solving skills. Exposure to two languages from an early age strengthens executive functions like attention and multitasking while fostering a deeper understanding of language.
This dual-language approach helps children develop fluency in both Spanish and English, while also encouraging stronger social skills, increased cultural awareness, and empathy as they interact in diverse environments.
Long-term, bilingual education contributes to academic success and literacy, with children often outperforming their monolingual peers. While some challenges, such as temporary language delays, can arise, our consistent, immersive approach ensures that children are well-prepared for future academic and social success.
“Children exposed to two languages outperform monolingual peers.”

The heart of our mission is our people.
At Smart Start, we know that exceptional child care starts with an exceptional team. Our teachers are the heart of our mission, bringing passion, expertise, and dedication to every child’s early learning experience. By fostering strong relationships and creating a warm, engaging classroom environment, our educators play a vital role in shaping young minds and preparing them for the future.
We are committed to investing in our teachers by providing continuous professional development, a supportive work environment, and the resources they need to succeed. When teachers feel valued and empowered, they inspire children to reach their full potential. By prioritizing the well-being of both our students and staff, we create a culture of care, learning, and excellence—because when teachers thrive, children flourish.
Academics + Life Skills = Balanced Growth
At Smart Start, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide a strong academic foundation while fostering key life skills such as independence, decision-making, cooperation, creativity, and problem-solving in young children. We follow the Early Childhood Education and Care Development (ECECD) standards, ensuring that our program aligns with the best practices in early childhood education. Working alongside focus accrediting organizations, we continually refine and strengthen our curriculum to meet the highest educational standards. Our teachers use effective strategies for adult-child interactions, ensuring that each lesson is engaging and personalized to meet the individual needs of every child. By setting up a stimulating environment and adapting lesson plans, we encourage both academic growth and emotional development, providing a high-quality, well-rounded educational experience for all learners.
